Build Confidence & Creativity with Private Acting Classes for Kids
“Acting is magical. Change your look
and your attitude and you can be anyone.” - Alicia Witt
StagePlay Learning is excited to offer one-on-one private acting lessons for kids. Each 30-minute lesson will provide the opportunity to develop the theater skills that make students unique while boosting creativity and building confidences. Participants will be given a variety of monologues that will best match their needs at the time. Instructors will coach students to use their own creativity to build confidence in order to discover the nuance of each monologue. Acting classes at StagePlay Learning have helped children improve their public speaking skills, being confidence in front of an audience and prepare for upcoming elementary, middle school, high school and theater group auditions or performances.
Why Acting Lessons are Great for Kids
Build Confidence & Enhance Communication Skills
At StagePlay Learning, acting lessons provide a supportive environment where your child can learn to express him or herself freely. During classes, participants are encouraged to use their creativity to develop characters through movement in their voice and actions and to use their imagination for expression. This will enable them to learn to overcome shyness, build self-esteem, and develop the confidence to speak and perform in front of others. We believe acting lessons provide a supportive environment where children can express themselves freely. These activities help improve communication skills both on and off the stage.
Develop Creativity While Encouraging Teamwork & Collaboration
Acting encourages imagination and creativity. Children explore different characters, scenarios, and emotions, fostering a creative mindset that extends beyond the stage into various aspects of their lives. Kids will learn the importance of teamwork and collaboration by participating in acting classes one-on-one or in a group setting. Group activities and performances require coordination, cooperation, and mutual support, promoting unity and shared achievement.
Improve Emotional Intelligence and Build Valuable Problem Solving & Critical Thinking Skills
Acting lessons help children understand and express emotions. By portraying diverse characters and situations, they develop empathy, emotional intelligence, and an awareness of the feelings of others. Acting involves quick thinking and adaptability. Children learn to analyze problems, make decisions on the spot, and think critically to portray their characters, enhancing problem-solving skills effectively.
Encourage Fun, Enjoyment & Play
Above all, acting lessons at StagePlay Learning provide kids a fun experience. Engaging in creative activities allows them to have a good time while learning valuable life skills through theater skills.
